The Rotary Club of Towcester was established in 1981 and since that time it has raised many thousands of pounds from its fundraising efforts.

Rotary Club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto:

This principle and the work the Rotary Club do is a fine and noble thing to emulate and encourage among children and so it is a great delight to have established a link with Towcester Rotary and form RotaKids at Nicholas Hawksmoor.

This has allowed us to separate out the work of fundraising events from the School Council and instead, allocate some of the key annual and bi-annual national events like Children in Need, Sport Relief and Comic Relief  to this new group instead. Not only that, but many other worthy charities like Water Aid and the World Wildlife Fund (to name but two!) can also benefit from charity fundraising too at other times of the year.

The Rotakids are at a fledgling stage at the moment but hopefully this year they will establish themselves as a pupil group and make great progress.
